Busabase T-shirt — print specification
=====================================

Everything here is drawn at actual size. All type is already converted to
outlines: there is no live text in any file, and no font needs installing.

THREE PLACEMENTS
----------------

  front 140 x 20.79 mm centre chest
back block 300 x 109.87 mm upper back
back hem line 300 x 10.23 mm one line above the hem

Reference garment: adult tee, 550 mm body width laid flat. Scale
proportionally for other sizes; keep every element on the centre line.

front top edge of the artwork 120 mm below the front neckline seam
back block top edge of the artwork 85 mm below the back neckline seam
back hem line baseline 40 mm above the hem

WHICH FILE TO USE
-----------------

Screen printing (one plate per colour) — use the separations:

  *-k100.pdf one plate, 100% K. For a light garment.
*-white.pdf one plate, named spot "WHITE". For a dark garment.

In both, the three bars inside the mark are KNOCKED OUT of the square — they
are holes, and the garment shows through. That is deliberate: it makes this a
one-colour job instead of two. If you would rather print the bars in a second
ink, use the two-colour files below instead.

The "WHITE" plate previews on screen as 25% cyan. That is a stand-in so you
can see the plate; white cannot be expressed in CMYK at all (0/0/0/0 means no
ink). The plate name is what matters — separate on the name, print white.

DTG / transfer / anything that takes artwork as-is:

*.pdf / *.svg two colours, on a light garment
*-on-dark.* two colours, on a dark garment
*@300dpi.png the same two, rasterised at 300 dpi on a transparent
background, for shops that only take bitmaps

COLOUR
------

Graphite #171717 the type, and the mark's square.
For a process job this is 100% K — that is what the
-k100 files contain. #171717 is the brand's screen
black; do not chase it with a CMYK build-up. If you
need an exact ink match, compare #171717 against a
physical colour book rather than converting numerically.
Paper #F8F8F7 only ever the three bars inside the mark. Either
print it as white ink, or knock it out and let the
garment show through (the separations already do the
                        latter).

NOTES FOR THE SHOP
------------------

  - Do not re-typeset anything. The type is outlined; there is no live text.
  - Do not add a background, box or drop shadow. Every file is transparent.
  - Do not stretch. Scale proportionally only.
  - Minimum clear space around the front lockup: half the mark's width.
  - Nothing here has been printed yet. Please pull one sample before a run.
