Busabase v0.70.0 Release Notes
New Community, member fields, and advanced search, with improvements to Agents, CLI, self-hosted licensing, Drive, and Cloud reliability.
Released: September 17, 2026
✨ New Features
- Busabase Community is now available: Busabase now has a Community space where users can exchange ideas and share real-world examples. Anyone can browse Community content, while signed-in users can publish posts, reply, like, and vote.
- Assign owners with member fields: Bases now support member fields, so a record can be assigned to one or more Space members. Their real names and profile images appear in grids, details, boards, editors, and filters.
- Continue from quick search to full results: Open Search from the sidebar and enter a keyword, then choose “See all results” at the bottom of the dialog. The full search page can narrow results by content type, update time, and sort order. You can also click a result's creator to show only content from that creator.
- Manage Agent prompts for each node: You can add, edit, and remove custom scenario prompts directly in the interface. Custom prompts appear first while built-in scenarios remain available. When a prompt is copied or handed to an Agent, Busabase also includes a connection check for the target Space to reduce wrong-environment work and repeated questions.
- A more complete CLI Skill workflow:
busabase-cli skillcan display the usage guide offline, skill setupprefers the current service's setup document, skill installinstalls a local copy, andskill linkcreates a lightweight pointer to a Skill in the workspace. The CLI does not write an API Key into a repository by default or silently overwrite an existing file.
🔧 Experience Improvements
- Switch Spaces without a full-page reload: When you switch Spaces from the top-left of the workbench, the sidebar, content, and address update within the current page without a blank screen or duplicate loading. Browser Back and Forward also follow the corresponding Space.
- Agent connection pages are easier to use: Agent list, add, and detail pages now show clearer states, errors, and retry actions, with improved mobile layouts, keyboard focus, and confirmation interactions.
- Code blocks in Doc nodes are easier to read: Light and dark themes now use appropriate code backgrounds and syntax highlighting, making keys, strings, numbers, keywords, and comments in JSON, Python, and other code easier to distinguish.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Drive downloads now save the file: The file tree and preview toolbar now use a same-origin download address with the correct filename and download response instead of opening the object-storage link in a new tab.
- Cloud AirApps can identify the signed-in user: An AirApp running in the same Busabase Space can use a protected session to read the current user and active Space instead of returning 401 because it has no frontend API Key. Cross-site requests and requests without origin information still require Bearer credentials.
- Opening an AirApp for the first time is more reliable on mobile: Cloud now establishes the complete session before entering the target AirApp, avoiding cases where the first load opened a generic error page and an immediate retry still failed.
- Invitation links show their real status: Invitation links now clearly show whether they are active or expired. Links that have expired or reached their usage limit can no longer be copied.
- The public API documentation entry works again: “View OpenAPI documentation” in API Key settings now opens the localized API reference, organized into the current 122 endpoints with request examples and response structures. It no longer leads to a 404 or generates a duplicated
/api/v1path.
