Busabase

Busabase v0.10.0 Release Notes

Browse templates before signing in, search workspace content, and connect DeepSeek Harness, with improvements to reviews, AirApps, and large Bases.

Released: September 3, 2026

✨ New Features

  • Template Center: The Busabase website now has a Template Center where you can browse templates, open their detail pages, and read installation instructions without signing in. After signing in, you can install a template directly into your workspace.
  • Search inside workspace content: The All tab in workspace search can now find text inside docs, pages, whiteboards, and workflows, with a matching excerpt in each result.
  • Dedicated links for individual records and reviews: In addition to complete workspace nodes, you can now create embed links for an individual record or proposed change. Recipients see focused, read-only content without access to other workspace information.
  • Run AirApps remotely: Cloud AirApps can run in the browser or in an isolated remote environment, with support for Node.js and Python apps.
  • Connect DeepSeek Harness: The new DeepSeek Harness Plugin gives DeepSeek direct access to Busabase workspace data.

πŸ”§ Experience Improvements

  • View complete template screenshots: Click a screenshot on a template detail page to enlarge it and inspect the full image.
  • A cleaner template installation flow: Template installation now has fewer confirmation steps and less redundant guidance.
  • Kanban boards open sooner: Each column loads its first cards independently, shows the correct total from the start, and offers Load more when needed. Moving a card refreshes the related column totals immediately.
  • Calendars load only the current month: Switching months no longer waits for every record in the Base. Records continue to appear on the correct local date across timezones.
  • Relation fields can search the entire target Base: When creating or editing a relation, records remain searchable and selectable even if they are not already visible on the current page.
  • Review queues respond faster: Inbox counts and visible reviews load faster even when a workspace contains thousands of proposed changes or changes with large records and files.
  • Clearer change attribution: Inbox, activity, and review details now show who initiated a change and through which Agent or connection, such as β€œLeon via Codex Β· MCP,” instead of showing an unknown user.
  • AirApp run settings stay with the app: The selected run location is saved in the AirApp's General settings instead of belonging to one browser. Teammates see the same choice, while the top toolbar stays focused on run, stop, pin, and fullscreen actions.
  • Node-specific Agent prompts load when needed: Prompts stay with their node and are read when the prompt panel opens, so every sidebar load no longer carries the complete prompt collection.
  • More complete and reliable AirApp previews: An app's own styles, scripts, data requests, and same-origin pages remain inside its preview. Remote apps can be stopped and started again without discarding a healthy environment.
  • AirApp icons look like real app icons: Uploaded AirApp images now appear with familiar rounded corners in the sidebar, while other node images and built-in icons remain unchanged.
  • Deep folders keep your location visible: Opening a nested folder loads its children whether you click the arrow or the folder name. Direct links, bookmarks, refreshes, and recent-item jumps expand the correct path and highlight the current item.
  • Settings work better on desktop and mobile: Desktop uses a roomier, consistent layout while retaining Busabase-specific areas such as Vault and Webhooks. Mobile starts with a clear category list, then opens each setting separately with a Back action.
  • Faster Agent searches in Drive: Cloud now uses Busabase's faster file-search capability, reducing the wait when Agents search for content in Drive.

πŸ› Bug Fixes

  • Export no longer renames unrelated folders: When exporting a complete workspace, a folder keeps its original name even if it shares a name with an installed app.
  • Normal work during a backup no longer breaks restore: Records added during a long-running backup are handled without letting small timing differences cause the restore to fail near the end.
  • Restore conflicts are easier to understand: When the destination still contains conflicting data, Busabase shows a clear reason instead of an internal error. Large imports are also processed in batches to avoid a sudden failure at the final step.
  • Google and GitHub users can add a password: People who joined through social sign-in now see Set Password instead of being asked for a current password they never created. Afterward, they can sign in with the new password.
  • Multiselect filters return the expected records: Equals and contains filters now work correctly with multiselect fields instead of silently showing an empty result.
  • Single-relation fields keep their current selection: When one record is already linked, the field displays it correctly instead of appearing empty.
  • Public whiteboards open correctly: Signed-out visitors no longer see a failed load or blank canvas when opening a shared whiteboard, and the whiteboard remains read-only.
  • Individual record and review links open reliably: Records and proposed changes no longer fail when opened through an embed link. Attachment fields in embedded Bases also show readable filenames instead of raw data.
  • Failed AirApps no longer load forever: If an app exits during startup, the preview clearly reports that it is unavailable instead of remaining on a loading screen.
