Busabase v0.95.0 Release Notes
Reuse your team's instructions with Agents, get notified when content you follow changes, and move dates by dragging calendar cards. Plus file uploads, a partner program, and everyday improvements.
Released: October 8, 2026
✨ New Features
- Agent playbooks: Your team's skills and prompts are now together on the Playbooks page. Whether you're logging a customer visit or writing a weekly report, copy them for your Agent to reuse instead of explaining the steps every time.
- Get notified when content you follow changes: Open the menu on a base, document, or folder and choose Subscribe to get notified when someone changes it or submits something for review. Following a folder also covers the content inside it.
- See which Agent helps the most: Team Insights now has an Agent leaderboard showing how much each Agent changed, how many proposals it submitted, and which were accepted. Each Agent shows the member it belongs to, and you can switch back to the member leaderboard.
- Add a time to a date: Turn on Include time in a date field to schedule something more precisely, such as a meeting at 3 p.m. Teammates in different places can view their own local time or use the same time zone, with a hint when the date falls on a different day.
- Reschedule by dragging a calendar card: Want to move a Wednesday plan to Friday? Drag its card over without opening the record to edit its date; the time of day stays the same. You can also use a long press on your phone or the keyboard; if the change needs review, you'll see a link to the request, and the card stays on its original date until approved.
- Upload files inside an AirApp: Upload images or documents, or replace files with the same name, from your app's Files tab. Uploads keep going when you switch elsewhere. Send them for review or upload immediately if you have permission; once the files are updated, restart the running app to use them.
- Apply to the partner program: Want to promote Busabase, build apps for customers, or connect your own product? You can now apply on the partner program page.
- See what's happening with your feedback: Community posts now show progress such as Needs more information, In progress, or Released, with a reason when a post is closed. People following the post get updates explaining what to do next, so you don't have to keep coming back to ask.
- Find your own posts and replies: The new My activity page brings together your Community posts and replies. Open it to pick up a conversation you took part in earlier.
🔧 Experience Improvements
- More languages to choose from: Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Korean, Portuguese, Vietnamese, French, and German have been added, bringing the workbench and Community to ten languages. Date pickers and help search buttons and hints follow your chosen language too.
- Search the prompts you've written: Choose Agent prompts in pattern search to find instructions you previously wrote for an Agent. File results also show their folder and the skill or Drive they belong to, making files with the same name easier to tell apart.
- Edit API keys without creating new ones: You can now rename the API keys used to connect Agents and change their permissions, without creating replacements and updating them everywhere. Names and action buttons stay visible as you scroll sideways, and you can check which key you've selected before deleting it.
- Edit your dropdown choices: Rename, reorder, add, or remove choices in single-select and multi-select fields. For example, rename In progress to Being handled, and records already using that choice show the new name without having to update them one by one.
- Replace a file with a newer version: When uploading to a Drive, select Replace files with the same name instead of deleting the old file first. Previous versions aren't kept, so download the old one first if you need it; if you submit the replacement for review, the old file stays in use until approval.
- More room to read PDFs: File previews have less empty space around them, giving PDFs more of the screen. Open PDFs, images, videos, or audio in a new tab when you don't want to view them beside the file list.
- New content follows a folder's public sharing: Content created in or moved into a public folder is shared with it, and moving it out adjusts sharing for its new location. The share dialog tells you which folder makes the content public and lets you go there to manage it.
- Less repeated heading space, more room for content: Bases, apps, and other pages no longer show the same title twice. The name is at the top, with a place to read its description and open settings. The space menu is grouped by purpose, making Inbox, apps, and sharing settings easier to find.
- Browse older history when you need it: A record first shows its five most recent reviews. Choose See all to look further back, instead of loading its entire history as soon as you open it; if a page fails to load, you can retry that page.
- Documents feel less cramped on phones: Smaller side margins give document text more room on phones and narrow windows. When editing with a mouse, you can still drag paragraphs to reorder them.
- Your own prompts come first: The prompt list shows what you've written first, with built-in prompts folded below for you to open when needed. It remembers whether you left them expanded or collapsed.
- Find Agent connection instructions more easily: Click a connection method in Team Insights to open its guide and follow the steps to install, sign in, or connect.
- Pick chat commands with a click: Type / and click a command instead of typing it out again. It won't send automatically, so you can check it before sending; available commands also stay in the list after reconnecting.
- Add screenshots to feedback: Submit a screenshot with your feedback when something goes wrong, without finding somewhere else to upload it. You can do this without signing in, and the form supports ten languages.
- Emails are easier to read and use: Welcome, verification, and password reset emails use your language when supported. You'll also get emails when you request access to content and when that request is approved or declined. Usage notices name the space, and email buttons take you straight to notification settings or billing.
- More to try in the demo: New playbook examples cover logging customer visits, drafting content, and recording team decisions. The insurance scenario also has an advisor's desk, a business dashboard, and an issuance desk, showing how different roles can use the same data.
- Blogs are easier to read and share: Articles show their author and publication date, the table of contents takes you to the right section, and shared links include the article's cover. If your chosen language isn't available yet, a notice tells you you're reading the English original.
- Clearer command-line results: Finding bases, calling the API, and editing descriptions take fewer steps when you connect through the command line. Searches for playbooks or files list the actual results so you can see what was found.
- Browse beyond the first Community posts: Lists used to stop at the first twenty posts. You can now turn the page to find older discussions, keeping your search, sorting, and filters without choosing them again each time.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Other people can open your shared app: An AirApp set to public sharing could previously show Not found or no access to visitors. People with the link can now open and run it without registering.
- Records embedded on other websites are viewable: Embedded records could report that access was unavailable even when the link was still valid. They now open correctly, and an expired link says Link expired so you know what happened.
- Changes are credited to the right person: Some changes used to show an app's name as the person who made them. They now show the actual member, including who is responsible for changes made through an Agent.
- A stuck proposal tells you what to fix: If you submitted several changes and one record was later deleted or archived, the proposal could keep saying it was ready to merge even though every attempt failed. It now identifies the record causing the problem and explains how to resubmit.
- Submit for review really waits for review: People with write access could choose Submit for review while editing a document and have it saved immediately. Your choice is now followed, and the save menu no longer gets hidden behind the editor.
- Everyone sees the same date: A date without a time could show a different day to teammates in different time zones. Everyone now sees the same day, and dates match across imports, filters, and calendars.
- Changing one setting keeps the others: Editing part of a view's settings could clear other settings, and resetting column widths could revert after a refresh. These settings are now kept and saved correctly.
- Community links work again: Links inside bold text are clickable. If a post moves to another category, links you've already shared still find it instead of leading to a missing page.
- Like counts match your likes: Fixed counts getting out of step with the actual like status when you clicked quickly or repeatedly.
- An easier first start on your own server: Fixed problems with installation, registering the first administrator, setting up email, and activation. Purchased member seats now work correctly, instead of keeping you at three members after you bought more; storage and API access no longer use Cloud's free-plan limits by mistake.
- Failed backups no longer quietly save blank documents: A document that couldn't be read during backup could previously be saved as empty. You now get an error so you can check and retry, instead of thinking the backup succeeded.
- Renaming a relation field no longer blocks updates: Changing a relation field's name could make later record updates fail. You can now rename it and keep updating records without having to deal with old links.
- More time for an Agent to start: Some connections timed out before the Agent had finished starting. The first connection now waits longer, reducing interruptions during a normal startup.
