Busabase brand

A calm identity for reviewed data.

Busabase is an approval-first database and knowledge base for AI agents. The brand should feel compact, product-native, monochrome, and trustworthy at small sizes.

Busabase

Logo System

The Busabase mark is a compact record-card shape: three rows inside a rounded square. It should read as a data object, not a mascot, seal, or decorative app badge.

Horizontal logo

Primary lockup for navigation, press, docs, and product pages.

Stacked logo

Use where a square or vertical composition needs the wordmark.

Icon

Small surfaces such as favicon, app icon, avatar, and product chrome.

Horizontal logo on dark

Use for dark press slides, social images, and dark UI surfaces.

Stacked logo on dark

Use where the stacked lockup needs strong contrast.

Icon on dark

Use for dark app icons, avatars, and compact product chrome.

Color

The core brand stays monochrome. Color appears only when it communicates review state inside the product.

Graphite

#171717

Logo mark, wordmark, primary text, high-contrast controls.

Paper

#F8F8F7

Logo cutouts, app icon contrast, near-white brand surfaces.

Wakatake

#5E8C6A

Approved, merged, canonical, and added values.

Yamabuki

#C79A3E

Change Requests waiting for review.

Arai-shu

#B95B3F

Rejected, changes requested, destructive, and error states.

Size And Clear Space

Busabase
  • Icon-only minimum: 16px digital, 24px preferred in product chrome.
  • Horizontal logo minimum: 112px wide in navigation or compact UI.
  • Stacked logo minimum: 96px wide for square compositions.
  • Clear space: at least half the mark width on every side.

Typography

Marketing headings use the app display serif. UI labels, body copy, and the logo wordmark stay sans-serif for compact product clarity.

Usage Rules

  • Keep the mark and wordmark proportions locked. Do not stretch, rotate, skew, or redraw them.
  • Use the horizontal lockup for navigation, press kits, docs, and wide layouts.
  • Use the stacked lockup only when a square or vertical composition needs the name.
  • Use the icon alone only when space is constrained or the brand name is already nearby.
  • Keep clear space around the logo at least equal to half the mark width.
  • Use the app icon only for favicons, PWA install surfaces, and home-screen icons.
  • Avoid busy backgrounds, gradients, photo overlays, and low-contrast placements.

Voice

Direct, not cute.

Trust-first, not alarmist.

Technical where it helps developers.

Short enough to survive translation.

Precise about review, approval, merge, and audit history.
