Busabase v1.1.0 Release Notes

Let Agents run workflows, turn apps into websites, and leave clear instructions for your team. This week also makes large tables, file browsing, and everyday tasks a little easier.

Released: November 5, 2026

Some tasks can run automatically; some information needs to be ready for the next teammate. This update aims to cut down on repetitive work, searching for information, and waiting for things to load.

✨ New Features

  • The workflows you draw can now run: Start a workflow yourself, or have it start when a record is added or updated, then process records, pause, or ask for approval along the way. You can check every step's result and get notified when approval is needed or something goes wrong. User guide

  • Let an Agent run workflows and check progress: Ask an Agent to start a workflow, check its results, or cancel a task that is still queued or waiting. You decide whether it can handle approval steps, and its actions are recorded. User guide

  • Turn an AirApp into a website others can visit: On Cloud Plus and above, once the website feature is configured, your team can preview an app, publish it at a fixed address, and take it offline whenever needed. Websites are view-only by default; ask an Agent to set up information collection and the right permissions to save visitors' submissions back to your workspace. User guide

  • Leave a guide inside a folder: Ask an Agent to add the project background, explain what the materials are for, and note anything the next person should know. Teammates can read it before browsing the files, with fewer questions about where things are or how to use them.

  • Give your team a welcome page on Home: Admins can choose a workspace document or web page to put the team introduction, useful links, and working guide on Home, and members can close it after reading. When no welcome content is set, new workspaces and members who haven't browsed any content yet see the Getting Started guide.

  • Connect a Buda Agent you already use: Enter the connection details from Buda in the connection menu to chat with your Agent inside Busabase. The existing authorization method is still available, and your chat history remains accessible after a page refresh.

πŸ”§ Improvements

  • Tables open faster, even with more data: Tables show a short preview first, with the full record ready to open when you need it, reducing waits and stuttering. Filtering, lookups, and formula calculations also take less time, while whiteboard thumbnails still appear as usual.

  • Keep large videos and resource packs in your workspace: Paid workspaces support individual files up to 5 GB, while free workspaces support up to 10 MB. Large-file uploads in Drive and table attachments have also been improved.

  • More files, less effort finding them: Drive folders stay collapsed until you need them, and you can browse files by folder in smaller batches. The sidebar no longer has to load everything at once, making it quicker to open and scroll.

  • Video controls are easier to find: Video previews use a consistent player with the progress bar and other controls fully visible. If your browser cannot play a format, it explains why and offers a download instead of spinning indefinitely.

  • Videos can be card covers too: When attachments contain no image, Kanban and Gallery cards use a video frame as the cover, making materials easier to recognize.

  • Read the full reference text you send to an Agent: Click a text label in Agent chat to open the original text in a dialog, before or after sending it. Your draft is still there when you close the preview.

  • Choose permissions for each conversation: When supported by the Agent, you can switch permission modes within a conversation, and new remote conversations prefer its β€œFull access” option. Existing conversations keep your choices, independently of one another.

  • Find the Agent you were just using: Lists and conversations show which service an Agent comes from, so you can recognize it even after renaming it. Recently updated conversations appear first, making it easier to pick up where you left off.

  • Find bills and update your card in one place: Workspace owners and admins can view billing history and open the payment provider from the billing page to update their card, get invoices, or manage their subscription.

  • When a workspace is full, the right people hear about it: If the content or record allowance is full and prevents something new from being added, workspace owners and admins receive an in-app notice and emails according to their personal settings.

  • Ask the team for help getting set up: The pricing page now introduces our deployment service, so you can see the kinds of work it supports and what is delivered before discussing your needs with the team.

  • An easier guide for your first visit: Quick Start has been rewritten to match the current interface, taking you from connecting an Agent and saving your first records to checking the change history. It also explains how to submit work for review when a person needs to approve it.

πŸ› Bug Fixes

  • Attachments no longer get hidden out of reach: Tables show how many more attachments there are and let you open the rest, including attachments brought in from other tables. Record details also wrap them correctly, so narrow columns and small screens no longer cut files off.

  • Pick up with fresh content after reconnecting: After a connection drops or you return from a break, the page you are viewing updates first, with less repeated loading. Other pages fetch the latest content when you return to them.

  • Updated records no longer suddenly show old content: Fixed slow reads overwriting newer records and long previews being mistaken for complete content. Drafts you are editing are preserved too.

  • Blank formula results no longer get mistaken for errors: When a table preview lacks enough information, it asks you to open the record rather than immediately reporting a calculation error. Genuine formula errors still show as usual.

  • Switching workspaces no longer looks like two reloads: Improved the transition and reduced repeated loading. If a switch fails, you stay in the original workspace instead of seeing the screen jump back and forth.

  • Fewer interruptions when several people upload at once: Fixed busy uploads interfering with sign-in and other operations, and made uploading and checking storage usage smoother.

  • Chat history keeps up with fast Agent replies: Fixed save conflicts during rapid message and progress updates, reducing failed saves and incomplete history after refreshing.

  • Search is more reliable as your information grows: Fixed some content leaving search waiting indefinitely, and Agent searches failing in workspaces with many records or files.

  • Deleting items from the recycle bin is no longer held up by lots of attachments: Fixed permanent deletion being slow or failing in workspaces with many files. Files still used elsewhere are kept.

  • Agents can read the right settings when you belong to several workspaces: An Agent can now specify which workspace's Vault settings to read, instead of failing because you have joined more than one workspace.

  • More reliable Office file previews: Fixed some files failing to generate a preview even though they had uploaded successfully.
