Change Requests
Pull requests for your data: open, review, approve, reject, merge.
Every edit in Busabase is a change request — a branch with a chain of immutable commits and a review status (in_review / revising / approved / rejected / merged). Merging fast-forwards the record pointer; no data is overwritten. A change request merges as soon as it is created when the writer has write access. It waits in in_review for a person only when the key is proposal-only (changeRequest), the caller passes autoMerge: false, or the writer is an anonymous form visitor.
