Busabase

Billing & Plans

View workspace subscriptions and usage, complete payments, find invoices, and handle cancellations, refunds, or payment issues.

A Busabase Cloud subscription belongs to a specific workspace. Before viewing or changing billing, switch to the correct workspace so that you do not purchase a plan for, or cancel the subscription of, another workspace.

Plan names, prices, features, and limits can change. Always use the Pricing page as the current source of truth.

View your subscription, usage, and renewal date

Select the workspace

Use the workspace switcher at the top left of the Dashboard to select the workspace you want to view.

Open Billing settings

Open “Settings > Space Settings > Billing”.

Review the current status

The Billing page shows the current plan, usage and limits for each resource, and any available bonus allowances. For an active paid subscription, it also shows the next renewal date. If cancellation is scheduled, it shows the subscription end date instead.

The Billing page reflects the currently selected workspace. If you manage more than one workspace, check its name again before paying or canceling.

Purchase a paid plan

You can start a purchase from the Pricing page or from the workspace's Billing settings.

Select a plan and billing interval

Review the latest plans, features, and limits on the Pricing page, then choose monthly or yearly billing.

Select the workspace to upgrade

The purchase flow asks you to confirm the target workspace. Only an owner or admin of that workspace can continue to checkout.

Pay through Creem

After you select Continue to Checkout, Busabase redirects you to a checkout hosted by Creem. Before submitting payment, verify the plan, billing interval, seat count, and total amount due.

Wait for activation

After payment, you return to the workspace you purchased the plan for. Busabase Cloud confirms the payment and updates the subscription. Once confirmed, the new plan and limits appear on the Billing page.

If the page says that payment was received but activation is still in progress, wait a few minutes and reopen Billing. If the plan still has not changed, contact support@busabase.com from the purchase account's email address. Include the payment time, target workspace name, and order details from the Creem receipt.

Payment methods, currency, and taxes

Busabase Cloud uses Creem as its Merchant of Record. Creem hosts checkout, processes payments, issues receipts and invoices, and calculates and collects applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST.

Creem supports credit cards. Depending on your location, billing address, device, and the subscription being purchased, checkout may also show Apple Pay, Google Pay, Bancontact, Cartes Bancaires, EPS, iDEAL, Link, or MobilePay. Availability varies by customer, so the options shown during Creem checkout are authoritative for that purchase. See Creem's payment methods documentation for its latest supported methods.

Busabase Cloud self-service subscriptions are priced in US dollars (USD). When applicable taxes are not included in the displayed price, Creem calculates and shows them at checkout. Review the final total before submitting payment.

Find receipts and invoices

The Busabase Cloud Billing page currently shows subscription status, usage, and renewal or cancellation dates. It does not provide a customer-facing invoice history.

After each successful payment, Creem sends a receipt to the email address used at checkout. The email includes a link to the Creem Customer Portal, where you can review order and payment details and request an invoice.

If you cannot find the receipt:

  1. Check the purchase account's inbox, spam folder, and filtered mail categories.
  2. Search for messages from no-reply@creem.io.
  3. Open Creem My Orders, enter the email used for the purchase, and request a new sign-in link.
  4. If you still cannot find the order, contact support@busabase.com.

Because Creem is the Merchant of Record, the merchant name on a card or bank statement may appear as CREEM.IO or CREEM*BUSABASE Tallinn EE.

Update your payment method or billing details

The Busabase Cloud Billing page does not currently include a control for changing payment methods. Open the receipt email sent by Creem after payment and use its Customer Portal link to update your payment method or billing details.

If the original link has expired, open Creem My Orders and request a new sign-in link with the email used for the purchase. The options displayed in the Portal are the payment methods available for your subscription.

Cancel a subscription

Open Billing for the target workspace

Select the workspace, then open SettingsSpace SettingsBilling.

Submit the cancellation

Under “Current Subscription”, select “Cancel Subscription”, then confirm the action.

Confirm the cancellation status

After cancellation succeeds, the current subscription changes from a renewal date to an end date, and the Cancel Subscription button is no longer shown.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The workspace keeps the features and limits already paid for until the displayed end date, and the subscription does not renew after that. Canceling does not refund the current billing period.

If you cannot cancel from the page, contact support@busabase.com from your account email address.

Request a refund

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for a paid plan. Contact support@busabase.com from the email address on the account and include the Creem order details. The refund is returned to the original payment method and normally takes 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on the bank or card issuer.

After 14 days, the current billing period is normally non-refundable. Exceptions apply where required by consumer law or in cases such as duplicate charges or a billing error on our side. Enterprise customers are governed by their separately signed agreement.

See the Terms of Service for the complete cancellation and refund terms.

What happens when you reach a limit

Busabase Cloud currently has no metered overage billing. When a plan limit is reached:

  • The action that would exceed the limit is paused and an upgrade prompt is shown.
  • Existing data remains readable and is not deleted because a limit was reached.
  • The system does not automatically charge an overage without your confirmation.
  • You can remove resources you no longer need or use the Pricing page to select a suitable plan.

Workspaces that someone else invited you to do not count toward the number of workspaces you can create. For current limits and how each resource is counted, see the Pricing page.

Failed renewal payments

If a renewal payment fails, Creem may retry the payment and notify the purchase email address to update the payment method. After a reasonable processing period, the workspace may be moved to the Free plan and its limits applied.

Busabase Cloud does not delete existing data solely because a renewal payment failed. Update the payment method through the Creem Customer Portal after receiving a failed-payment notice. If the subscription does not recover, contact support@busabase.com.

Frequently asked questions

Is billing managed per account or per workspace?

Subscriptions belong to individual workspaces. One account can join or manage multiple workspaces, and each workspace displays its own plan, usage, and subscription status.

What counts as a seat?

Each member of a workspace counts as one seat. Before entering Creem checkout, verify the seat count and total in the order summary.

Who can purchase a plan?

Only an owner or admin of the target workspace can enter checkout for that workspace. If no workspace is available to select, verify your role and the currently selected workspace.

Which payment methods can I use?

Credit cards are supported. Creem may also show eligible wallet or local payment methods based on your location, device, and order. The options shown at checkout are the final available methods for that purchase.

Where can I view billing and download an invoice?

The workspace's Billing page shows subscription and usage information. Creem manages payment history, receipts, and invoices. Use the Customer Portal link in the payment email or visit Creem My Orders.

Is a yearly subscription charged monthly?

No. With yearly billing, the full year is charged at checkout. The subscription then renews yearly unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Do I lose paid features immediately after canceling?

No. When you cancel through the Busabase Cloud Billing page, the subscription ends after the current billing period. Paid features and limits remain available until the displayed end date.

Will I be charged automatically if I exceed a limit?

No. There is currently no overage billing. The action that would exceed the limit is paused, while existing data remains readable.

Is existing data deleted after a failed payment or downgrade?

Existing data is not deleted solely because a payment failed or a limit was reached, but new actions are subject to the limits of the current plan.

What should I do if I do not recognize a Creem charge?

Search the purchase email address for a Creem receipt and check Creem My Orders. If you still cannot identify the charge, contact support@busabase.com with the charge date, amount, and statement description. Do not send a complete card number by email.
