There is no metered overage billing today. When a quota is reached, the action that would exceed it is paused and you are shown an upgrade prompt. Existing data stays readable, and you are never charged automatically.

The Busabase engine is open source (MIT) and free forever when you run it yourself — no seat count, no expiry, and your data never leaves your machine.
Start a server in one command
npx -y busabase@latest serverdocker run --rm -p 15419:15419 busabase/busabaseBoth listen on port 15419 by default. Open http://localhost:15419 once it boots.
