Busabase Cloud
Best for an existing account, team workspaces, and multiple devices. Set baseUrl to https://busabase.com, restart, and approve browser OAuth once. Review proposed changes in Busabase Cloud.
Managed local
Best for private on-device work and no-account setup. It is the zero-configuration default: busabase_start starts or reuses local Busabase.
Existing local server
Best when Desktop or another app already embeds Busabase. Set its loopback baseUrl and server.mode to external; start it before Harness. The plugin probes it but never starts or stops it.

Not in managed Local mode. For an existing server with server.mode external, start Busabase first. Cloud connects to the hosted service.
How do I update the plugin?
Uninstall the plugin in Desktop, then install @busabase/dsh-plugin again. Installed plugins do not update automatically yet.
How do I know the selected mode is working?
Managed and existing-server modes expose busabase_start first; it starts managed Local or only probes an external server. Cloud opens browser sign-in.
