設定手順

ホスト型チャットにはシェルもファイルシステムもないため、コネクタが唯一の入口です。

サーバーを追加

チャットクライアントから Busabase の MCP エンドポイントを指定します。

サインイン

ブラウザで OAuth を完了します — クライアント ID やシークレットの作成は不要です。

最小限の権限を選ぶ

changeRequest なら提案はできてもマージはできません。

確認

作業前にエージェントへ auth_verify の実行を依頼します。

  1. On a computer, go to gemini.google.com and click Settings → Connected Apps at the bottom (if you do not see it, click Personal Intelligence → Connected Apps).
  2. Under Custom apps, find the Add a custom app link to get started field (or click Add a custom app) and enter https://busabase.com/api/mcp.
  3. Busabase supports Dynamic Client Registration, so leave Advanced features closed. Click Next and follow the on-screen sign-in.
  4. In a chat or task, type @ and select the Busabase app, then ask it to call auth_verify.

You can only add a custom app in the Gemini web app; once added it also works in the Gemini mobile app. Requirements: age 18+, in the US, a personal Google Account (not work or school), Keep Activity on, English only.

Not Spark-only: Google's page says custom apps work in chats (quick actions) and in task threads. Limits per Google: age 18+, US, English only, personal Google Account only (work/school accounts not supported), Keep Activity must be on, and a custom app can only be added in the Gemini web app (then usable on mobile). Google says write actions need manual confirmation. Tasks/Spark themselves need Google AI Pro or Ultra and are unavailable in the EEA, Nigeria, Switzerland, and the UK. Cloud-hosted, so it cannot reach Busabase Desktop on localhost.
